Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A vintage, Colton's map of the US State of North Carolina. This beautifully detailed map from the public domain was published by J.H. Colton of New York in 1860 . A legend shows the locations of Rail Roads, Common Roads, Canals, the State Capital of Raleigh, Cities, County Towns and Villages. A separate insert at the bottom left shows Colton's Plan of Beaufort Harbor. This reproduction image has been converted to nostalgic sepia tone and has added texture.
I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
